About me

Hi, I’m Julia

Founder of ClearWorks Cleaning & Organizing

ClearWorks was created from lived experience, not a business idea on paper.

For over five years, I’ve worked alongside individuals and families navigating disability, mental health challenges, cognitive differences, and major life transitions. Through this work, I saw something come up again and again: when life becomes overwhelming, our spaces often reflect that—and traditional cleaning services aren’t built for those moments.

ClearWorks exists to fill that gap.

This isn’t about perfection, aesthetics, or rushing through a checklist. It’s about restoring safety, dignity, and calm—at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.

Why I Do This Work

I know what it’s like to feel stuck, overstimulated, or ashamed of a space that once felt like home. I also know how powerful it can be when someone shows up without judgment, pressure, or assumptions.

My background is in disability support, behavioural assistance, and life-skills development. I’ve spent years supporting people with their challenges, not around them—always prioritizing autonomy, consent, and emotional safety. That same approach is the foundation of ClearWorks.

Every service begins with listening.

Every decision is made collaboratively.

Nothing is thrown away, moved, or changed without clear consent.

How ClearWorks Is Different

ClearWorks is not a standard cleaning company.

We specialize in non-biohazard reset and transition cleans, decluttering, and organizing for situations such as:

  • Mental health overwhelm
  • ADHD or executive functioning challenges
  • Hoarding-related clutter (non-biohazard)
  • Grief, illness, or major life changes
  • Preventive eviction or housing transitions

The goal is never to “fix” someone or their home—it’s to support people through hard moments and help make their space feel livable, functional, and safe again.

Our Values

  • Judgment-Free & Compassionate
  • Inclusive of all genders, identities, abilities, and backgrounds
  • Dignity-first and trauma-informed
  • Collaborative, not controlling
  • Confidential and respectful

ClearWorks proudly supports the LGBTQ+ and disability communities, and serves individuals, families, professionals, and organizations across the North Shore and Greater Vancouver area.

A Note From Me

Reaching out for help can be hard—especially when it involves your home. If you’re feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or worried about being judged, please know this:

You don’t need to explain or justify where you’re at.

You don’t need to be “ready.”

You just need support—and that’s what ClearWorks is here for.

I’m really glad you’re here 🤍
